Our new public art event, “Best Seats in the House,” is the talk of the town! “Best Seats in the House” features 41 custom-decorated benches throughout the Shorewood business district and other landmark locations. Pick up a brochure at any participating business, Village Hall, or visit www.shorewoodwi.com. The website also features photos of each bench and a special online bidding form where you can submit your bid to purchase a bench at the close of the event. A public auction will be held on August 29 at Hubbard Park Lodge when all the benches will be sold to benefit the Shorewood Foundation, the event’s presenting sponsor. If you can’t make it to the auction, you can bid on your favorite bench RIGHT NOW! After you make a bid online, a reply will be sent to your e-mail right away verifying your bid.
