Thanks to those who joined us for our annual Holiday Shopwalk on Saturday, December 3. Our business district was alive with the sights and sounds of the holiday season as shoppers took advantage of special offers from local merchants, enjoyed the sounds of strolling carolers from the Shorewood High School Choir, and visited with Santa at Gilda's Club. Free trolley rides, compliments of North Shore Bank and Nehring's Sendik's on Oakland, transported residents and guests to all ends of the village to shop as well as to see the eight professional ice carvers create stunning masterpieces out of frosty blocks of ice at select businesses. Many thanks to all of our corporate sponsors who underwrote the cost of the ice-carving exhibition as well as our generous businesses who donated dozens of gift certificates for products and services in our drawings. Sixty lucky winners were chosen from among our entries! We also were pleased to partner with the Shorewood High School Choir, the Milwaukee Ballet, and Gilda's Club.
