Shops Open Shorewood – TONIGHT
I f you haven’t heard, the BID’s monthly event series, Shops Open Shorewood is an amazing way to check out merchants you’ve never been to or support your favorites, all from 5:00 – 7:00pm tonight, July 11th, and every 2nd Thursday of the month, through October! More than 30 businesses are participating and all of them have great deals, activities and specials. Scan the QR code to see the list of participants and their offerings and mark your calendar for the upcoming dates August 8th, September 12th and October 10th!
The 5th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast, presented by the Shorewood Foundation, is Shorewood’s signature street festival from the 4200 to the 4400 blocks of Oakland Avenue held Saturday, September 14th from Noon – 9:00pm. This is a family-friendly foodie event with free entertainment and activities for every age. There will be music, entertainment, plenty of food trucks, a harvest dinner, artisans, and more!
As always, we can’t put on these great events without your help! We are looking for help setting up, general support throughout the day and grounds cleanup after the event is over. No heavy lifting involved- just bring a smile, your love of community and being involved in this great new event. Help is also needed serving for the harvest dinners in the middle of Oakland Avenue.
All volunteers get a free drink ticket (if over 21) and all Shorewood High School students in the National Honor Society get NHS volunteer credits, so NHS students please sign up to volunteer
