Shorewood Shenanigans is Expanding!
Dear Shorewood BID Members,
I’m writing today to inform you of the BID’s plans to expand our St. Patricks Day event, Shenanigans. This very successful community event has been growing over the last two years, and after many discussions with our Food and Beverage community and Village Hall we’ve decided to have two block parties in 2020.
On March 14th, 2020 we are proposing to close down the sections of Oakland Ave from Kenmore to Capitol (Camp Bar and the Brat House) and Kensington to Glendale (3 Lions) creating two block parties under the BID’s Shenanigans event. The rest of Oakland would stay open and drivable with transportation shuttles provided by Camp Bar and the Brat House.
Our goal is to be fair and equitable to all Shorewood businesses, so please send me your feedback asap so we can address it appropriately.
