Volunteers & Sponsorships Needed
The 18th Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic, organized by the Tour of America’s Dairyland, is just around the corner on Friday, June 24th from 11:00am to 8:30pm! This amazing event showcases riders from near and far. Shorewood riders are gearing up to race and local families are getting ready to host national riders for the 11-day long event! Races of this caliber could not happen without support of the community and many volunteers. Shorewood has always risen to the challenge of putting on one of the greatest races in the series!
The Shorewood Business Improvement District (BID) significantly relies on sponsorships from local individuals and merchants to bring this event to the community. In return, we are able to partner with our sponsors to provide unique exposure opportunities. The sponsorships range from $250 up to $5,000. The BID can always work to find something that matches your goals. Click below for a more detailed list of the levels.
The BID is also seeking day of volunteers and course marshals for this event. Course marshals are an essential component for urban criteriums like ours and also present a great opportunity for a front row seat to the racing action. For those who haven’t experienced the excitement of a criterium – marshals are stationed at key points around the course ensuring pedestrians and spectators are safe as the racers pass through each lap. There can never be too many volunteers when it comes to the safety of racers and spectators at events. Volunteers will be provided instruction beforehand, so you don’t need any prior experience!
If you are interested in sponsoring or volunteering for the 2022 Shorewood Criterium Classic, please contact Janet at [email protected]!

People in Blue Zones cultures not only live longer lives, but they often live better lives- with health, meaning, and love.
In this workshop, Dr. Axtell from Lakeside Natural Medicine will share the longevity secrets of the Blue Zones and also demo some delicious recipes inspired by her recent trip to the Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica.
The workshop on Saturday, May 14th from 11:00am – 12:30pm, will be offered both on-site and virtually ($39), and those who choose to attend the workshop in-person ($50) will get to enjoy samples of these recipes! (In-person registrations are limited).
